Alenka Bezjak Mlakar

Alenka Bezjak Mlakar, PhD, has been active in the telematics sector for 8+ years. She is the head of the Telematics Conference, the first business events in Southeast Europe and Middle East and Africa focusing on telematics for fleet management and commercial vehicles. She is also author of the market research Commercial vehicles in Southeast Europe: Telematics solutions and perspectives. Before establishing Telematics Conference in 2010, she worked in event management. In 2016, she finished her PhD in anthropology, where she focuses on solving business problems with multidisciplinary people-centred approaches.


Dietrich Brunner

(Global) Sales Manager Insurance Industry, Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions

Dietrich Brunner is Global Sales Manager for the Insurance Industry at Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions GmbH. Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions develops and markets innovative connected devices and tailor-made sensors for the Internet of Things (IoT).

In his position, Dietrich enables partners within the insurance eco-system to create value with sensor-devices. He gained his knowledge and expertise within telematics trough his studies (master-thesis about telematics solutions) and several insurance customer engagements as Senior Consultant. Also his personal affinity for automobiles is beneficial for vehicle insurance related projects.

Prior to his current position at BCDS Dietrich had worked in several sales and consulting roles within Allianz Insurance and IBM.

Thomas Edelmann

Thomas Edelmann is a graduate of the University of Commerce, Vienna – Austria  (major: Transportation Sciences).

After having spent about 25 years in the corporate world mainly working for global blue chips Coca-Cola and MasterCard, he made his passion his career by starting the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) & Activation platform RoadSafetyUAE at the beginning of 2014.  

Thomas is the Founder and Managing Director of RoadSafetyUAE – a holistic platform aimed at increasing the awareness for road safety in the UAE, by leveraging the key stakeholders governmental entities, corporate supporters, the media and the individual traffic participants in the UAE. Kirill Lebedev

Kirill Lebedev has been working in TechnoKom for over 12 years. In 2007, he began his career as an engineer and in 2012, he became a technical consultant. Now, he is a project manager, working mainly with large fleets in Russia, CIS countries as well as Europe. In addition to management, he is involved in the development of hardware and software systems, by accumulating requirements and tasks in different sectors and markets. He also is a developer and a trainer of numerous AutoGRAPH training courses and webinars, which help AutoGRAPH system's partners and customers to elaborate their experience and knowledge, as well as create a deeper integration of the system into various processes.

Brent is responsible for new market and product development and innovation, including technology for use within the logistics business, with specific view to visibility tools at vehicle and product level. Brent has years of experience working with telematics systems starting back in 1999 based on track and trace for security purposes, using a range of telematics for a various purposes, from behavior to temperature management and exception reporting.

In 2005 he joined Continental Tires Spain, a legal entity of Continental AG, which is a global supplier of automotive technologies, as Customer Service Manager for Spain and Portugal. In 2008 he became Head of Sales of the company’s truck tire business in Spain. 8 years later he moved to Continental Middle East and its base in Dubai and became Head of Sales of their truck tire business in the region.
