Travel

Dubai is situated at the cross roads between the east and the west on the halfway between Europe and Asia. It can be easily reached by air, sea and land. Dubai airport is the main hub for air transport in the United Arab Emirates. It is served by several major airlines, most notably Dubai-based Emirates. There are over 120 airlines operating to Dubai.

Dubai enjoys an arid subtropical climate. Temperatures range from 10°C to summer highs of 48°C. The average maximum daily temperature in January is 24°C and 41°C in July, when humidity is very high.

Dubai is very liberal but it is always wise to respect the religion and culture of the city by wearing appropriate clothing in public places.

The official language of the UAE is Arabic. English is widely spoken and understood in business and commerce.
